I’m ready to achieve my goals“The Self-Leadership process, led by Mary Kutheis, has been a transformative journey for me. It helped me gain clarity for the next steps in my life, and I am forever grateful for the experience.”
Daren CurryOrganizational Development Practitioner
But how will I change how you think?
Truth is, I won’t. But you will.
In just eight weeks, I’ll teach you how to control your thinking instead of letting your thinking control you. It’s not motivational affirmation stuff. (Which does have its place.) It’s neuroscience. Made simple.
I’ve been a coach for over two decades and I am certified as a professional, executive, and team coach. I’m also one of an elite number of coaches who have been trained and certified as an Axiogenics (value science + neuroscience) coach.
(Yeah. I know you’ve never heard of it. But there was also a time when people hadn’t heard of EQ – emotional intelligence. Now look at how important it is.)
In this training, we use value judgments-uncovered via your VQ Profile-to transform the way you think about yourself and your goals.
How does the self-leadership coaching and training program work?
It’s a small cohort-based course lasting eight weeks. I purposefully keep the group small, so that even in a group setting you get individual attention when you want or need it. The small group environment is ideal to learn from one another, as well.
Over the course of these weeks, we have a weekly live Zoom session, recorded for later playback if you wish. On top of that, you have the opportunity to book two one-to-one calls with me.
You start the program by setting your own objective/goal-taking time to make certain it’s something you really want. In fact, we’re looking for something you may have wanted to achieve for a long time but you just haven’t been able to move the needle on it.
Then, we dive into the program. Aided by the individual VQ Profile report you receive a couple of weeks into the training, you’ll gain insight into what specific thinking patterns are getting in your way, and which positive patterns you already possess to help you reach this, or any goal.
Finally, you receive strategies to support ongoing use of your newly acquired insights and skills. What good is a new skill set if it doesn’t stick beyond the training program, right?
“Mary introduced me to the VQ Profile, an insightful assessment that identified my best, and less-than-best ways of thinking. It allows me to understand specifically what thinking gets in the way of reaching the outcomes I want. Mary has an easy-going style which blends in well with her compassion and business acumen. She’s an ideal coach.”

Getting to know you
For a successful onboarding, you complete just three tasks.
- Take the online VQ Profile (20 minutes, max) which pinpoints your unique thinking perspectives.
- Schedule your first 30-minute 1:1 call with me, which will set you up for success.
- Define your focus for the program. What do you want to achieve/change/make better? Many people use that first 1:1 call to help nail this down.

Aligning your thinking and your actions
Following the first phase, we’ll start the weekly Zoom sessions. During these 8 one-hour sessions, we’ll follow a strict pattern to explore, learn, and apply new concepts, skills, and tools.
At the core of this approach are your personal results from the online assessment you did in phase one. You’ll receive your private, individual report revealing helpful patterns and unhelpful habits. There’s a total of 36 perspectives that you’ll learn to deal with to change thoughts into actions.

Strengthening your foundation for success
Unlike a self-help book or class, this program is designed to create permanent change. Towards the end of the program, you’ll have learned the tools to achieve your goals, and the strategies to make your changes stick.
If you have any doubts or personal challenges, you’ll have the chance to book a second one-on-one call to discuss these and set yourself up for success.
While it’s not a guarantee, some people have achieved their big goal within the 8 weeks of the program. Others needed a bit longer. But they’ve all made it.

I’m ready to achieve my goals“I would recommend this course to anyone (yes, even those as young as college students!) that have tried any and all forms of self-improvement and can’t seem to not get in their own way.
This is self-improvement without the gimmicks and tricks.”

What makes this cohort different?
This cohort isn’t a sprint, it’s the start of a marathon in the best possible way.
Unlike self-help books, webinars, or sole-focus accountability coaching, this program gives you the tools and the support to make a permanent change in your life.
Your coach, Mary, is 1 of only 20 certified Axiogenics coaches worldwide. This advanced approach based on value judgment goes deep and makes any other personal professional development you do, more successful.
You’re not just going to get the guidance to reach the one goal you’ve been chasing for too long, you’ll get the tools and strategies to reach this goal and every future goal you set for yourself.
What’s it worth to not be stuck in frustration mode when trying to make change happen? Or when striving to reach a meaningful goal? It’s for you to decide what value getting it done instead of staying stuck, has for you.

Mary Kutheis, Certified Executive Coach

Stop wrestling with those negative thoughts that swallow you like quicksand.
Learn how to overcome roadblocks and set yourself up for success.
Again. And again. And Again.
I’m ready to achieve my goals“The small group format allowed for individual attention as well as learning from others in experiences that they shared. I changed my thinking patterns to focus more on my strengths (assets) to permit me to move forward rather than attempting to ‘correct/limit’ my biases/liabilities.”

FAQs and OTHER THOUGHTS YOU MAY BE HAVING Is this about mindset and being motivated? Expand
Nope. Mindset and motivation aren’t how you think, they are rooted in how you think. Your thinking is impacting your motivation and mindset. We figure out specifically which thinking patters are getting in your way…and then shift them.
I’ve tried to stop (insert behavior you want to stop here) but it never sticks. Or I’ve tried to achieve (insert what you want to achieve here) but just keep getting stalled. ExpandTotally get that. But this is different because it gives you one or more specific alternatives to the unhelpful thinking patterns that are habitually getting in your way. If you want to stop procrastinating, you need to know what thinking patterns are making you procrastinate and purposefully shift to a better thinking pattern. If you want a promotion but keep coming up with reasons why now isn’t the time to ask for it, there’s that unhelpful thinking again. This change works because it’s science-based. Not motivational-poster based.
This all sounds very confusing. ExpandThat’s why it’s a robust coaching and training program. If you already knew this stuff you’d already have made the changes or reached the goal you’re seeking. You need new information and skills to make the shifts in thinking that will you lead you to changes in your work and/or life. You make small changes over eight weeks that build to a new skillset. You won’t ever be lost in the program because I’ll make sure you’re doing ok.
Is this the same as Emotional Intelligence (EQ)? ExpandIt’s not. But this work absolutely impacts growth in EQ. Makes sense that it would since your behaviors under the umbrella of EQ are driven by how you think. Doing this work before or alongside EQ work (which I’m also certified in) just expands growth and development further.
This sounds like it will take a lot of time. I’m really busy. ExpandIt’s not a lot of time unless just over 2 of the 168 hours you have to work with each week, is a lot.
One 75-minute live class and around an hour of outside homework each week. The skills you practice aren’t added work to your day, you just do differently things you would have done anyway.
How many people are in each cohort? ExpandMinimum of 4 and maximum of 8 people. Keeping it small allows for some individual attention even in a group setting. You’re never required to share anything, but if you do have questions or need support that you think may relate only to you, we can still talk about it right in the class.
It’s a lot of money. ExpandOnly you can decide if the growth/change you seek is worth the investment you’ll make. If your goal involves generating more revenue in some way, your goal would have to be REALLY low in order to not make your money back. If you’re goal is more self/personal development, what is the psychological cost for the situation staying the way it is? Which cost is higher? That’s an answer you need to know for yourself.
I’ll also share that I’ve gone through the program – which was required before getting certified – and paid more than this cohort costs. So there’s that.
I’m kind of private. A group setting sounds invasive. ExpandYou only share what you want to share with the group. We don’t go around the group with everyone required to share their program goal, or spill about their experience over the previous week. You share what you want and speak up if and when you want.
The only people who see your assessment report are you and me. Even if your company pays for the course, I can’t ethically share your report with them. If you want to share it with anyone, that’s up to you.
I’m just not ready. Maybe I’ll do it later. ExpandYour brain wants you to stay safe so it will do its best to keep you where you are. If you’ve read the webpage and now have gotten down to this question, consider whether perhaps a little fear, procrastination, indecisiveness, etc., is what’s driving your decision to delay.
Those very thinking patterns are likely the same ones that have you in the position of not achieving what you want. This course shows you how to be free of those blocks and make decisions rooted in helpful thinking patterns.
“I appreciate that the program is backed by science/research and feel more confident and empowered that I’m taking action that’s moving me toward my goals.
Definitely worth the investment.” Barb Burk
