EQ helps you understand yourself and others.
EQ forges more collaborative relationships.
EQ is a big part of increasing your overall sense of happiness and well-being.
EQ helps you dodge stress and conquer indecision.
Are those outcomes appealing? Would they make a difference in your life?

How Do I Build My EQ?
It’s not as difficult as you may suspect when you go about it the right way.
Your EQ-i 2.0 report and your real-world experiences supply the information you need to choose which areas would most benefit from improvement.
With the identified areas top of mind, each week you get exercises to practice in your typical day.
The more you practice these skills – with my support and that of others in your cohort – the more comfortable you become with your new ways of thinking and being.
That’s why this is an 8-week program instead of 8 hours in one day. You have time to practice and build skills. It’s entirely possible to make impactful changes in 8 weeks.
How Does the Emotional Intelligence Coaching & Training Program Work?
This course lasts eight weeks. The cohort is kept small, so you still get individual attention. The small group setup is ideal to learn from one another, too.
Weekly live Zoom sessions are recorded to re-watch later if you wish. You can also book one 1:1 call with me at any time during the training.
Using your individual EQ-i 2.0 report you see what areas of EQ are already strengths and which areas are ripe for skill development.
Each week building on the last, you learn and practice strategies to shift your thinking and behaviors. You also take away strategies to keep using your newly acquired insights and skills. After all, what good is a new skill set if it doesn’t stick beyond the training program.
Getting You Going
Within 24 hours of registering (probably much more quickly) you’ll receive an email inviting you to take the EQ-i 2.0 online. You won’t receive your report immediately, but you will receive it no later than the day before the program begins.
Starting the Learning
During the 8 one-hour sessions, we follow a proven structure to explore, learn, and apply new concepts, skills, and tools.
Of course, time is carved out for questions, discussions and sharing experiences as much or as little as you wish.
Having received your private, individual report you’ll see areas where you may be quite strong and other areas that would benefit from skill building. There are 15 “subscales” on your report as well as a Well-Being score. (I know you don’t know what any of that means yet. But you will.) The report is packed with information that you’ll be guided through along the way.
The End Is Also The Beginning
That’s what training should be, right? In a properly designed training program you learn for a period of time then use what you learned. Once you’ve completed the training you continue the growth by sustaining those new skills and behaviors into the future.
You can see significant changes just within the duration of the training. And when you continue to use your learning and new skills, you’ll just keep improving.
Unlike IQ, which peaks at around age 17 and stays at the level for life, EQ naturally peaks at age 40. But with EQ, you can keep improving as long as you wish.
We know it’s not about the “score” but about what the score indicates. But your score can continue to rise over months, weeks and years when you continue to use your new skills.
Who Should Enroll?
People who benefit from this course include those who want to continue their personal growth, be ready for the next step in their career, lead with confidence (even if you’re just leading yourself), be more empathetic, and play well with others. This is for working people, retired people, young adult people and curious people. It’s not for complacent people.
The areas below are a powerful illustration of what EQ impacts.
- Emotional Self-Awareness
- Emotional Expression
- Impulse Control
- Stress Tolerance
It’s sounds hokey or sales-y to say that everyone can benefit from improved EQ. But it’s also true. The difference between those who do and those who don’t is that the “do-ers” stand out from the pack in every context. And life is quite a bit less stressful. There’s no situation where being even marginally more emotionally intelligent isn’t a win.
